Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of NearHire (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What NearHire is

NearHire is a marketplace that helps clients discover and connect with local freelancers and agencies (“Providers”). NearHire is a venue only — we are not a party to any agreement, engagement or transaction between clients and Providers, and we do not take a commission on work arranged between them. The first contact with a Provider is free; additional contacts may require a paid contact pack.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You are responsible for your account, the accuracy of your information, and all activity under it.
• Keep your credentials secure; notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Providers

• You must provide accurate profile, pricing and contact information and keep it current.
• Profiles are reviewed before going live and may be approved, rejected or suspended at our discretion.
• Verification badges reflect documents you submit; misrepresentation may lead to removal.
• You are solely responsible for the services you offer and deliver to clients.

4. Clients

• You are responsible for evaluating Providers and for any engagement you enter into.
• Contact details shared on connection are for legitimate hiring purposes only — no spam or misuse.

5. Payments & refunds

Paid contact packs and subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. Prices are shown before purchase. Because contact credits are delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or in the case of a duplicate or erroneous charge. 6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false, misleading or unlawful content; harass or defraud others; scrape or abuse the Service; circumvent security or payment; or use NearHire for anything illegal. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Content & reviews

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant NearHire a license to host and display it for operating the Service. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences; we may remove content that is fake, abusive or violates these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. NearHire does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality or outcome of any Provider's services, or the accuracy of user-provided information. Any engagement you make is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NearHire and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for disputes, losses or damages arising between clients and Providers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India for any disputes.

12. Changes & contact
